We are pleased to announce that this week marked the 25th episode of the HR Uprising Podcast. Our CEO, Lucinda Carney, launched the HR Uprising Podcast this year as an inclusive forum to share and learn. Since the initial launch in June 2019, the podcast has reached over 7,500 downloads as well as hitting No.1 in the Apple Podcast Business Charts.
In this special ‘Silver Jubilee Episode’, Lucinda was proud to welcome Steve Browne, Steve has been an HR professional for 30+ years and has worked in the Hospitality, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, and Professional Services industries in various HR roles. Steve is an accomplished speaker and author to the best-selling book “HR on Purpose !!” which looks at Human Resources from a fresh, positive and intentional perspective.
This ‘Conversation with’ episode focused on becoming more strategic within HR. Steve offers a number of personal anecdotes to demonstrate how to apply certain practices to real-life situations. Steve is extremely proud to work within the field and loves working with people. He states:

With the Festive Season fast approaching, Lucinda will be hosting a special collection of podcast episodes titled ‘Twelve in 12’ this December. These will be twelve-minute conversations with twelve varied HR Professionals based on their career journey.
Another highlight is that Lucinda has finished writing her first book on ‘How to be a Change Superhero’. This will be available sometime next year so be sure to key an eye out for it.
