Actus is delighted to announce that, following a competitive selection process they have been awarded the Contract to provide Oxford City Council with Actus Performance Management Software.
Oxford February 2018: Oxford City Council is committed to continually serving their customers and they understand that the best way to do this is by investing in and developing their people. This is demonstrated by their achievement of Investors in People Gold accreditation in 2014 and then going on to win the Gold Employer (+250 staff) and then being crowned the overall IiP winner 2015. These prestigious awards truly reflect what a great work environment the Council offers to its employees and underpins their aspirations to build on their solid foundations of people management capability. One aspect of this is to work with Actus to take appraisal, development and behaviour management to the next level of engagement and efficiency.
IiP looks for excellence in Leadership and Management of people, they want to see evidence of great people and performance management, clarity of roles, quality development and recognition processes and a clear focus on Continuous Improvement. Moving from a paper-based appraisal process to an online approach for the Council’s 600 staff will give the Council the tools and visibility to continue to deliver for their people and customers.
The Oxford City Council vision is to ‘Build a World Class City for Everyone’ by putting excellent public services at the centre of everything they do and they have a defined behavioural framework to support this, which will be embedded within the Actus System.
Actus was selected from other suppliers due to the functionality and configurability of the Software and the experience and expertise of the team in both organisational development and technical integration.
