Penarth Town Council continues focus on delivering Performance Excellence with Actus

Penarth Town Council introduces new Performance Management Software to support their staff development programme.

London September 2017: Penarth, situated on the outskirts of Cardiff, on the Eastern boundary of the Vale of Glamorgan is a bustling, vibrant town with thriving independent shops, businesses, restaurants, cafes as well as an award-winning Victorian Pier and Pavilion. In 2016 Penarth Town Council underwent extensive restructuring to adapt to the changing locality and develop a greater capacity to serve the community.

As part of their commitment to provide the resources and expertise that will secure the continued prosperity of the town the Council has engaged the Actus award winning performance solution within the council. The Council aims to use the software as a fluid online tool, which will be accessible to all members of staff.

In keeping with the Council’s endeavours to better serve their community, it will offer a service to the organisation enabling current projects and work programmes to be kept on schedule and delivered to their maximum potential. It will also allow individual members of staff to be evaluated on their performance, which can be highlighted to ensure compliance, continued engagement and skills development.
