The Financial Conduct Authority have now finished consulting on CP17/25 and CP17/40 and issued in July 18 their near final rules and policy PS18/14: Extending the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR) to FCA firms. As expected SM&CR will be extended to all Financial Services businesses large and small (it already applies to banks) and December 2018 has been announced as a key date for this to start. Actus Comply, the first fully integrated performance appraisal and SM&CR software in the market-place is ready to support firms with this requirement.
