They employ more than 3,000 staff across 21 countries and having a strong and consistent approach to leadership and career development is a key priority to them.
Actus had been providing FläktWood in the UK with performance management software for a number of years, so when FläktGroup, the parent company started looking for a Talent Management Solution, Actus was one of the systems recommended.
Following a comparative review of the market; Group HR selected Actus citing the simplicity and versatility of the software as a key factor in their decision.
One of the first challenges was translating the comprehensive MAP (Managing and Appraising Performance) leadership process into Actus. Although driven by Excel, the terminology and structure was heavily embedded throughout the business, so it was important to ensure that Actus was as familiar as possible. The Implementation Team at Actus worked tirelessly with the Talent Management team within FläktGroup with multiple iterations and tweaks. They worked together to reconfigure, relabel; restructure and rebrand the default Actus design, effectively replicating the excel MAP process online.

Initially Actus will be rolled out to senior managers throughout the business. This will provide automation of the MAP process and for the first-time visibility across 21 counties including Germany, USA, Turkey, Denmark, Finland and Singapore, which should lay the foundation for international talent management and career development.
