Our First Customer Forum

On Friday 14th July at the Cass Executive Campus in London, we hosted our very first Actus Customer Forum!

We started the day networking over coffee and pastries, and then went into the opening presentation by our CEO and founder Lucinda Carney. During this presentation, Lucinda gave a company update and a view of the product roadmap for the coming year, before going into a breakout session on the top issues revealed in our recent customer survey.

These breakout sessions allowed our guests to discuss with their peers the common issues they face as well as explore potential additions to the company roadmap. We were also delighted to have representatives from PRISM Brain Mapping, a sophisticated, online behavioural tool, used to create better teams and managers.

During this session, Lucinda outlined the benefits of using Neuroscience and delegates then completed a fun, interactive behavioural exercise.

After an excellent lunch, delegates went into the afternoon workshops; How to Run a Positive 360 Feedback Session, HR as a Change Agent, Harnessing Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace and a Surgery with the Actus Tech Gurus. These sessions proved highly successful with plenty of dialogue between the facilitators and delegates.

Our keynote speaker; author and HR blogger Mervyn Dinnen, took centre stage, providing his professional insights into some of the key issues surrounding HR today, such as onboarding and talent management. All guests received a free, signed copy of his new book “Exceptional Talent” and shared their perspectives on the latest thinking in HR with him.

The forum was extremely well received and after conducting a short survey on the event, 100% of respondents stated they would recommend attending a Customer Forum in the future!
